About this sitter
Hello, Kari bell and Durian here. We are an awesome duo currently traveling around Europe by bicycle. I work from where ever i am and enjoy being in nature the most. Durian (my pup) is very mellow, loves to play with other dogs and is good with other animals. We are a perfect fit to visit and care for your pets.
Why they want to house sit
I enjoy housesitting because it offers me a purpose while exploring new places. I love cozy home spaces and enjoy house keeping. House sitting is a balance where i get to keep house and still be on the road adventuring.

Wonderful, thoughtful house sitter
Kari and (her lovely dog) Durian sat for me for 6 weeks over winter 2023/24. I am delighted to recommend them 100% to any future host. They looked after goats, cats, chickens and dogs and I just knew from our first zoom call that everyone would be in the most competent and caring hands. And they were....Asti, my dog has never had so many lovely long walks, the hens and goats were beautifully looked after and the cats so happy and relaxed when I got home. Kari looked after the house, the barns, garden and animals perfectly. I lent her a car, which she looked after well. I am not someone who needs to be in constant contact and certainly did not feel I needed regular reassurance that all was well, but we messaged as and when we needed to . Kari was always super responsive sending photos and getting back to me quickly. She even cooked a delicious dinner for our return. Thank you Kari and Durian, you were amazing and I would love it if you decided to return to this part of the world in the future.

Perfect Housesitter!
Kari kindly agreed to look after our house in Granada during some of the winter months. She was a great communicator, and was happy to provide references etc. Travelling with her dog, who was also very welcome in our home. The house was left in great condition, the plants watered, and Kari was super helpful whenever I needed someone at home to receive a delivery. She got on with the locals and I believe has made some new friends! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her to anyone out there looking for a reliable, competent, and kind housesitter.
