About this sitter

My name is Kyra, and I am a kind and friendly young women who enjoys spending time in nature, farming, creating, and traveling. I grew up working in cafes art studios and restaurants, as well as a nanny. I studied international relations in university and I studied and lived abroad in Costa Rica, Australia, and Europe. I then went on to work with environmental education non-profits and also do various solo travel trips using workaway, farm work, and at retreat and meditation centers.

Why they want to house sit

I would love to house sit as it gives me a great opportunity to care for animals as my own, help others out, and have a unique and enriching exchange experience. I very much enjoy living life in new places, and finding ways to adapt and grow in new surroundings. I love to learn from animals, people, and the land and I feel this path of life is perfect for someone like me =)

Their experience

I have experience caring for others animals including dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and horses. I have worked at a rental property agency and have taken care of many houses cleaning, and welcoming guests. I also have experience living with host families, and I am very flexible person who keep my space very clean and organized, and respects the rules and ways of others homes.

What can they bring to the assignment

My determined and positive attitude. I am always up to helping out and getting things done in the house. I am very organized and communicate very well with others. I would always be in clear communication with the hosts. I am a great listener, very happy, have a kind heart, always show respect, and am very grateful for new opportunities like house sitting.
