About this sitter

Carol and I are experienced house sitters and we do have references. We last sat in Hinton, NSW in Australia for two months and we will be returning once again to sit next May 2023. We also house sat in Cotacachi, Ecuador and in Port St. Lucie. We would prefer dog’s only and any watering of plants. We are very reliable and always look after anyone’s home as if it was our own and our condo is emasculate. We have extensive experience with dogs.

Why they want to house sit

It is an excellent way of travelling the world and learning other cultures. My Dad was a Master Mariner who my Mom and I had the pleasure at times to travel with him from Trinidad to Port Alfred in Quebec as well as British Guyana. It is an education in itself and a wonderful way to meet new friends.

When I had to go back to the US the next year, I asked them if they would be interested in house sitting for me, as didn't want to leave the house empty for 6 months. They gladly accepted the offer and what a good decision that was on my part. When I had the house built in 2005, invested heavily in landscaping; flowers, fruit trees & vegetable plants. When I came back was astonished at how they had flourished under Carol & Claude's care. They cared for the house & yard better than I could have done or expected. For the next 2 years, whenever had to leave, Carol & Claude took care of own. I would not hesitate in having them house sit for me in the future.
