Mature, experienced, reliable, tidy, non-smoking/drinking sitter

About this sitter

I live in the Far North, and travel a lot in Europe during the summer there to go Urban Sketching (see photos). This NZ summer want to spend time on the Kapiti Coast. I am collaborating with 2 other locals on a creative and therapeutic project. I love dogs, but that might be too restrictive this summer, cats, chooks, rabbits etc., should be fine.

Why they want to house sit

I need to spend time on the Kapiti Coast to work on a collaborative creative and therapeutic project. We are a group of 3 artists, who are also therapists. We are pioneering a new project that is creative and therapeutic in nature. Once complete we expect to publish the outcomes.

Their experience

I have lots of house/pet siting experience in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand and own a property in New Zealand, grow my own food, and recently fostered a dog for 18 months. I have looked after dogs, cats, chickens, houses, and vegetable gardens. I am non-smoker/drinker, tidy, organised, dependable, and live a simple, healthy vegetarian lifestyle. One of my backgrounds is in architecture and have therefor a greater than average understanding of how to look after a property. I have references and police checks in place. Previous references on this site got lost as I unsubscribed during the covid travel restrictions. .

What can they bring to the assignment

I am quiet, mindful, responsible, and love company of animals.
