About this sitter

Sparkle and I are a couple of spring chickees that love people and other dogs. We are digital nomads that have travel to places like San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Mexico. We have house sat for friends and family and have house sat for property owners that travel the world. Most of our assignments have been a year or more but we are open to all offers. We are looking to travel, and house sit in places like the UK, Mexico, Portugal, and even the US if available. As an IT Consultant I work on projects for a year and then take time off until another project becomes available, yet because I work remotely, I can travel the world while working.

Why they want to house sit

We are looking to house sit because even as newbies we have spent most of our lives taking care of other people’s property. Friends and family go out of town they ask if we can watch their dogs. I have even had former co-workers take a week cruise requesting us to watch their apartment and their two dogs. Sparkle who is a 17 lb. Shih Tzu dog that is friendly, she loves to play with other dogs, and I(Colette) just love dogs. As I have decided to travel the world and take her with me, I know this will be a wonderful way for us to help owners while living out our dreams

Their experience

We are experience with friends and family, & property owners. Yet traveling the world housesitting, we would be considered newbies.

What can they bring to the assignment

Sparkle and I bring security, integrity, kindness, and friendliness. Over the years we have always treated people’s property with a sense of ownership. When someone trusts you with their prize possessions you must guard them as if they were your own. I remember traveling from San Francisco to Las Vegas because Sparkle liked the doggy daycare their better, I would leave her for a week while I traveled back and forth because I trusted them and they trusted me to return, also to pay for their services, Ha Ha. We will do anything for our fur babies, and Sparkle and I will make sure you can travel knowing your belongings are secure. Thank you in advance for giving us a chance.
