About this sitter

I am in my 40s with a professional healthcare job. I am clean, quiet, and responsible. I love traveling; my first international trip was when I was 13 years old; I got a summer job scraping gum off of school desks to pay to travel with my friend to stay with her family in Mexico! I have owned both cats and rabbits, and I have dog sat both professionally and as a favor to friends. I love to garden and am always looking for plants/flowers/vegetables that will grow in my very shaded yard. I am looking for a house sit that allows me to explore the surrounding area and soak in the culture while watering plants and taking care of 1-2 animals.

Why they want to house sit

I participated in Couch Surfing in my 20s and loved the community of like minded individuals that wanted to open their homes to others and allow guests to explore the host's hometown in a budget friendly way. The biggest barrier to travel can be the expenses, so when I heard of House sitting I thought it was such a perfect way to combine my love of travel while also caring for the pets/plants/home that has been entrusted to my care.

I have house sat for many friends, all with various needs and instructions that I have always been able to follow. I have dog sat in both a professional and personal capacity. I have owned both cats and rabbits. I am incredibly responsible and organized. Given the nature of being in the healthcare field I am cool under pressure and can handle emergency situations with a level head.

I bring my attention to detail and astute awareness to the care of your home/plants/pets. I communicate clearly and as much/as little as the home owners would prefer. I can guarantee that I will be a quiet and clean tenant for my stay and respect the space and animals that have been entrusted to me.
