I have traveled the world on various adventures and absolutely cherish the feel of being immersed in community (as opposed to staying in a standard chain hotel). I grew up on a farm in rural Poland and immigrated to the states when I was little. Respecting and cherishing animals & nature is how I was raised. I feel comfortable around nearly any animal, though large dogs are my favorite. Most recently I had a gentle giant mastiff. She was my best friend. Later in her life she developed cancer and after trials of surgery and medicines, she eventually passed away. I lived in New York City at the time and decided it was best to not get another pet for a while. I'd love to have my own farm of rescue animals one day when I feel ready to settle down.
I've pet/house sat for many friends from NYC to California and I've found that open & clear communication is key and something I feel strongly about. Let's be sure we're both on the same page and create a great experience! One of my favorite things is sending photos of pets to their owners regularly :)

I'm looking for a wonderful home with inviting hosts. A good internet connection is needed since I work remotely. I deeply appreciate hosts that can guide me to the closest farmer's market :)

Why they want to house sit

The ability to travel and work remotely is something I feel very privileged to be able to do. I love connecting and learning from various cultures and being in a home environment really allows for that experience to occur naturally.
It feels deeply rewarding to me to care for others' pets and homes and share photos with them so they feel comfortable and at ease.

Yes, lots of experiences! Cat/dog sitting, home sitting and even caring for livestock!

During college I would work nights at our local animal emergency hospital at the front desk, helping the technicians in the back frequently. I've seen nearly everything under the sun and have a few tips and tricks for common ailments, also I can recognize the red flags for serious issues.
