About this sitter

We are animal and plant lovers from Victoria, Australia. We enjoy spending our time outside exploring, all forms of art and music, and cooking delicious food. We have grown up with pets and often prefer animal to human company.

We would like to be somewhere that provides the opportunity to try new experiences and adventures.

Why they want to house sit

We like to stay in one place for several weeks to get the full experience of the area, the people and the culture. We prefer our own space away from the scene of hostels/hotels. House sitting allows us to feel as if we actually "live" in a town or city rather than just passing through.

Their experience

We have experience in house sitting together and individually, looking after both our own, and other peoples properties, pets and gardens. We have a wide range of experience - from housesitting hobby farms with a variety of animals (goats, reptiles, canines) as well as experience in smaller more contained spaces with indoor-only felines. We have experience bottle feeding juvenile animals, as well as taking care of those that are more mature.

Bridgette grew up on a farm and has experience with livestock animals like cows, horses, goats and sheep. She is also a house plant master, and has been instrumental in making our own home an indoor jungle.

Chris also grew up in the country and has bred chickens as well as caring for ducks, magpies and a bearded dragon. He is a qualified arborist, with extensive experience in tree maintenance, pruning and management.

Both Bridgette and Chris have experience with domestic house pets such as cats and dogs, and in caring for their own vegetable garden and fruit trees.

What can they bring to the assignment

We are keen walkers and very active, therefore you can rest assured that your beloved furry friends will be well exercised, fed and watered. We are also avid readers who enjoy our down time and are quite happy to share inside or outside space with animals that prefer company.

We are more than happy to water your garden, pot plants and vegetables, maintain lawns/patios and undertake pool care.

We are owners of our own home, and fully understand how important it is to maintain home security. We would ensure we act to preserve the security of your home.

We have renovated our home and take pride in the appearance of our garden and keeping a clean, tidy house. We will bring this attitude and ethic to your home, and in return would appreciate a clean space upon arrival.
