Native Dutch, pet loving couple mid 50, hands on care takers

About this sitter

We are a dynamic, active and traveling Dutch couple (both 55+), we love the outdoors, especially water sports like sailing, but also hiking is an almost daily outdoor activity for us. In 2002 we left the Netherlands to work in Italy, followed by a few years in China, then 12 years living and working in Switzerland, and recently we returned from 2 years living and working in Saudi Arabia. After more than 20 years on the road, we decided to spend part of the year in the Netherlands and the other part of the year settling somewhere in Europe.

Why they want to house sit

We like the different experiences in different countries, to explore and get in touch with the locals and their habits/culture.

Their experience

We have a broad experience in sitting dogs and cats and looking after the homes, the gardens and pool. Also some technical and up keeping issues we can solve for you.

What can they bring to the assignment

What we agree to we will do. So sitting your pet, looking after the house, keep it clean and tidy, do some gardening and if needed solve some technical issues while we are house sitting.
