About this sitter

I recently retired to the coast of Oregon on two acres. I am a painter who enjoys being outside or walking in nature, love DOGS and kitties are darn sweet too - I miss having my own. I had co-managed a small farm greenhouse business with our 2 flat coated retriever dogs an one mixed breed for 9 years pre COVID. I was nanny to my neighbors baby boy...and cared for her 2 horses in the mix. If you live in a walkable area with trails, in villages or mid-size towns, and have loving pets I would be a good fit.

Why they want to house sit

I would LOVE to travel - to see rural England or English speaking Countries for starters - to experience unusual geography or different cultures. I don't care for hotels or the air B-n-B scene. And I have not yet setup my house with a dog fence, so I would enjoy time with family pets of a loving disposition. I also would enjoy a house sit with no pets but in need of garden or plant care.

Their experience

I am new to online home exchanges but do house/pet sitting for relatives. A retired friend and her husband invited me, with owners permission, to bird/house sit with them. I was GREAT and I would LOVE to join the house swapping or sitting scene.

What can they bring to the assignment

I can paint a watercolor of your pet or your house! I am a very savvy with home care, garden care, DIY and common sense. Friends say I am approachable and easy to talk to. My career was Engineering Technical work, mapping, and information systems (GIS). I live a quiet life.
