About this sitter

I am 59 years old; my husband and I recently retired after owning our own landscaping business. I live in Virginia of the United States, on the Chesapeake Bay. I have always loved to travel and this seems to be an avenue that will help me explore new cities as well as meet new people and share my love of animals.

Why they want to house sit

I am an avid cat lover, the hardest part of accepting assignments, will be missing my 19-year-old black cat, Eddie. I love black cats and have always a felt a strong affection to them. My love of travel brought me to this website and I would especially love to get to know the country of Italy more personally and live like a local.

Their experience

My husband and I have had pets all of our lives. I love dogs and cats. I am also very experienced with having to administer medicine to both cats and dogs. We also used to own chickens, turkeys, peacocks and guinea fowl.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am extremely clean person. Anywhere I stay will likely be left cleaner than when I arrive. I usually clean my own litter boxes twice a day. Thankfully my husband has offered to stay home and take care of my own two cats, so I can pursue short term assignments and get to live out my dream of traveling.
