Animal Lover

About this sitter

I am brand new to this site and I have just completed my first assignment. I recently just left the Yogaville community in VA after completing the Living Yogi Training program. I am now doing a bit of traveling, learning and exploring to better myself for my future purpose. I felt this was a great way in being able to be among families well loved animals, have, continue my online studies with the freedom to explore some while meeting new people. I hope to get more involved with the MindMyHouse program to gain the experience and references needed to continue on my journey. I am an independent woman of faith who has very strong values of integrity and commitment. I retired as a 33 year Bank Manager in 2017 and have been on a spiritual journey ever since. I am from San Diego however, my internal compass has lead me to the East Coast. I am presently in NY, driving distance for any available opportunities on the East Coast. I have taken several classes in telepathic communication with animals. This has been extremely helpful in the love and care of my past animals. I was recently able to rescue a feral kitten (pictured, "Angel") from a rest stop in NC thru this type of communication. I would love to be considered to watch your loved fur baby(s).

Why they want to house sit

I absolutely love animals. I have had the wonderful opportunity of loving and owning many different cats and dogs throughout my life. Many of my animals have been "special needs", so I am well equipped with the patience and care needed if your pet has any disabilities or need for medication. I have some experience with small birds and reptiles. I am willing to care for any animal with proper guided instruction. I am interested in helping all types of animals, and their families, to not only be of service to them and you, but to fill the animal lover portion of my cup in my heart. Since I have been traveling this past year, with no animals of my own, I really want to keep the ingredient of animal love and care in my general practices. Animals and the care needed is a big part of my future passion and purpose. This program is such a beautiful way to gain exposure to the many types of animal personalities, serve their needs, and experience the different communities of the East Coast.

Their experience

I am well aquainted with domestic animals. I have been very blessed to have such a special bond to animals whether they were my own animal or others. My mother started me on my crazy cat lady journey as a young child. When my daughter was young, she would bring home stray dogs, most of whom we ended up keeping. At the time, this would drive me crazy however, I later realized that this was part of Gods glorious plan all along as this started my profound love for dogs. Prior to my travels, my house was never not full of animals, to include a few reptiles (daughters), birds & fish. I have had a total of 22 cats & dogs combined in my lifetime and I will one day add to that number when the time is right. At one time, I had a maximum of 7 cats and 5 dogs. It was truly a labor of love but I had never been happier being among them all with their different personalities.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am a honest, loyal, hardworking, God loving faithful woman of integrity. I have a vast amount of life experience who loves to share and give whether it is my time, knowledge or friendship. I know I will love your animal, easy or difficult, big or small, I have had them all. You can be rest assured that your furry extended family will be well loved and cared for while you are away. I also believe that if I am meant to be the lucky one considered, God and the universe will guide me to your home.
