About this sitter

California raised and currently working on a novel started fulfilling a dream of mine to travel the world and experience life to its fullest. I am new to this site, however for the last 4 years I have been housesitting, boat sitting, and pet sitting all by word of mouth and personal recommendations and referrals. At this time I am looking for a location that will be longer term, so I decided to give this site a try. I am very comfortable with animals as well, so I can always take care of fur babies too, I love the companionship. I understand the apprehension of leaving your home and loved ones in the hands of a stranger, but please know I will treat all as my own, with love and care. I also am very “handy”. Coming from a long line of contractors and engineers, not much ruffles me, so any necessary potential home emergencies can be handled efficiently. As it’s just me, I am very clean and very active, I love to go for long walks and explore new areas.

Why they want to house sit

I am a solo traveler that has been house/boat sitting and repairing for the last 4+ years. Currently writing a book, I am looking for a peaceful home to stay for a few months to write. I see it as a win win situation for all involved.

Their experience

Yes! Lots. For the past 30+ years of have owned my own homes, remodeled them too to bottom, as well as owning and managing many rental properties in both California and Ohio. I am also from a family of contractors, so grew up working construction projects and remodeling houses/apartments, also supervising workers facilitating repairs. The last 4+ years I have almost full time been house sitting, boating sitting, and pet sitting for many different people.

What can they bring to the assignment

Confidence for you to know your home will be cared for and loved, as well as your pets, if it’s applicable. I can give you regular updates and peace of mind that I will also quickly be on top of any situation that may arise. I am a quiet person, that tends to mostly stay by myself, kind of a loner, especially when I’m writing. I’m very clean and a minimalist.
