About this sitter

My husband and I, (late 60s, early 70s), are originally from New Zealand but currently live in France. We are parents, grandparents, and previous homeowners - reliable, responsible, caring, clean, tidy, and quiet, and will care for your home like we would our own. We primarily are looking for longer house-sits in France but are open to other countries in Europe and we have EU passports. Our beloved cat, Bijou, recently passed and we have also had dogs but are now pet-free. We have numerous excellent Air BnB reviews and also long-term references.

Why they want to house sit

Both my husband and I have traveled a lot in our lifetimes together and individually, for work and pleasure. Since retirement, we have continued to travel, when possible, to learn, meet people, marvel at nature, and simply enjoy this life while we have it, as it is precious.

We have over 50 Air BnB reviews, all '5-star'. We also have 4 separate long-term, '5-star' reviews. We have previously owned homes but currently choose a different lifestyle. We are active, extremely responsible, clean, tidy, non/smoking, caring people who will look after your house and property immaculately. We are also experienced cat and dog sitters, having previously loved our own, who are no longer here. We do prefer now to housesit only but are open to both house and pet sit also.
