About this sitter
We have been married for 39 years ,Non smoking ,We have lived and are living a very varied life style.which has included us living in Europe for several years and the UK ,We have been housesitting for 25 years, We have done housesitting in many countries ,looking after a variation of animals (From Terrapins,to horses) ,Housesitting is a wonderful way of meeting a lot of different furbabies and meeting all their owners ,It also allows us to enjoy the different cultures .

It allows us to have our fix of animals ,to enjoy the time we get with them .We get to meet many different people from varied walks of life ,Doing House sits over the years has also given us a lot of friendships with we still continue with today .We can offer a service to home owners which allow them to keep their furbabies in their own homes whilst they are away ,giving the owners a peace of mind they are in our care .

With 25 years experience we have faced many different situations some good, some not so . ,l have worked in two residential kennels and catterys,and also worked has a veterinary nurse for 8 years , We are able to follow instructions regarding giving medication ,special dietary requirements ,injections can also be given when required ,.We have been involved in hand rearing puppies and kittens ,to comforting a poorly furbaby on their journey to Rainbow bridge , We have sat in many different houses over the years we have been housesitting so we are used to sometimes having to think on our feet if there is a issue in the house ,Prior to taking the sit we always have a conversation with the homeowners regarding the running of their home ,so they are comfortable leaving it in our hands .

A lovely, reliable, cat loving couple
Eddie and Debbie - thank you! Eddie and Debbie looked after Gucci for us for almost two months during the winter. Gucci, our 19yr old cat, really missed their cuddles and attention when we returned and they left. They were reliable, honest, communicative with funny stories from Gucci, and a very easy genuine couple of people. Over winter there is not much to do at our place but they left our home clean, tidy and handed over with full instructions to the next sitter when we decided to extend our holiday, as unfortunately they had prior plans so were unable to extend their sit with us. We look forward to meeting up with them again through the year as we never got to say thank you in person.

Amazing Sitters
I am so pleased I had the pleasure of meeting Deb & Eddie. They instantly put me at ease about leaving my two dogs, a hedgehog and fish. The dogs were so relaxed around them and they had them eating out their had by the time I got home. My home was immaculate when I got home, and they'd even striped the bedding for washing. Will definitely be using these guys again, thank you so much.

No worries
I think this is the third or fourth year that Debbie & Eddie have house sat for us. With them we know that we can just relax the minute we leave our house. They can deal with any situation, whether animal or house. Just so reliable & caring. Huge thumbs up for them. They weren't needed for garden stuff as they come to us in February, hence the lack of tick besides the 'good in garden'. They are a very rare commodity as things are changing very quickly, they CARE about their house sit. Making double sure that they arrive the day before we leave & leave the day after we return. Not all sitters are as conscientious as we experienced last year. Stick to the good ones I say !!

Excellent house & pet sitters
Debbie & Eddie kindly agreed to return again for another sit in January 2020 to look after our 11 rescue dogs, various ducks & chickens, and a cat. During our month away they cared for our animals just like they were their own. And it is was a complicated sit! Our dogs are old and many are on daily medication. One dog was admitted to hospital after Debbie spotted a hernia which needed operating on. Another oldie was enjoying his last few weeks and our amazing sitters agreed to take the responsibility of making the call when his time came and he was ready to go over the rainbow bridge. We could not have asked for better care for our fur-babies. Debbie & Eddie were great at keeping in touch and updating us with developments at home, sending photos on a regular basis, and liaising with the local vet. The house was cleaner on our return than when we left, the grass had been cut, and supper was in the fridge. A super couple who we cannot recommend highly enough.

5 week house sit in Suffolk
Eddie and Debbie were very communicative when arranging the house sit which was very reassuring as first time users of the service. We spent a day together before we went overseas and our dog and cats were already very relaxed with them. We had regular updates and photos whilst we were away that reassured us and allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves, we thought we'd worry a lot about Billy who is sensitive. The animals got to celebrate Christmas and got turkey dinners and presents. Our rescue dog is sometimes hard to read and his relationship with the cats was more chasing than chilled. We found on our return that Billy and the cats were so much more relaxed together and the cats had continued their outside toilet training which required them passing Billy to get to the cat flap. It was important to us that they get on better. On our return after long haul flights we were greeted by a big pot of pasta, a super tidy house with beds all made up ready for us to collapse. Debbie and Eddie gave us a detailed break down of all the animals behaviours whilst we were away and activities they enjoyed. There was all the basics in the fridge and animal food topped up so we didn't need to go out again. It was a great end to the holiday to know the animals were happy and well looked after. We recommend Eddie and Debbie highly as house sitters.

Wonderful housesitters!
We were lucky enough to find Debbie & Eddie Trzopek to look after our 9+ rescue dogs & assorted chickens/ducks & 1 cat during our 4 week absence. From the very beginning, and throughout the entire sit, they were excellent communicators and obviously took their assignment very seriously, asking about the dog's history, medications etc. Debbie emailed photos and updates whilst we were away and it was obvious that the dogs were very comfortable and being spoiled rotten with cuddles and love. She has a great understanding and experience of dogs and we were very happy to leave them in her care. One of our dogs is epileptic and she spotted th signs of an approaching fit and sat up all night with the dog and comforted her and gave the appropriate medication when the fit happened. Eddie looked after the chickens and ducks and made sure they had clean bedding and water every day, and is also very practical and dealt with the foibles of a partly renovated house and a blocked sink in his stride. On our return, the grass had been cut, the fire laid, the house was lovely and clean and there were fresh sheet on our bed. Extremely thoughtful and very welcome after a 30+ hour journey. We cannot recommend Debbie & Eddie highly enough and are happy to be contacted by any future hosts if further information is required.

No need to worry whilst away
Debbie & Eddie have house sat for us for 3 years running at our remote house in France. They have coped with all the peculiarities of our house & dogs. The dogs are always sad when we return as they have been so well cared for, Debbie especially connects with them. This year our young Beauceron developed epilepsy a week before our departure date. Had it been anyone else house sitting we would have cancelled but Debbie is so practical with animals that we/they got through the 3 weeks with fits. Eddie copes with the woodburner fuelled heating, which isn't for everyone. I would not hesitate in recommending them as house/pet sitters.They come to us in January/February so nothing to do re-house or garden & am only interested in the dogs being well cared for, not work being done, which is the only reason I haven't ticked the bottom 2 boxes. Great House Sit couple - Cats Loved them!
Debbie and Eddie sat for us for 2 weeks over Christmas. Their communication before they arrived was great and as seasoned house sitters they know what to ask and we felt confident leaving them in charge. The night before we went one of our 4 cats went lame so Debbie accompanied me to the vets. Turned out she has previous experience as a veterinary nurse so was well equipped to look after him as he recovered. I can recommend Debbie and Eddie as friendly, capable and trustworthy and I wouldn't hesitate to ask them to sit for us again

Great Mature Petsitting Couple
Eddie & Debbie proved themselves to be very competent sitters. A mature & friendly couple, they kept in touch prior to the sit & were confident & independent whilst with us. We left on holiday with no doubt that our critters would be very well cared for & returned home to a cooked meal! I would definitely have them back & recommend their sitting services to other home owners. Thanks both!
