I love animals of all kinds including dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, turtles, and gerbils. My husband and I are retired and love traveling and exploring new places.

About this sitter

I am a healthy, active, retired teacher. I have had pets all my life, from dogs and cats, to bunnies and turtles. I volunteered with the AZ Humane Society for 3 years, fostering dogs, helping out in the Spay and Neuter facility, and working adoption events. I have just lost a 15 year old dog and would like to spend time with animals while exploring new locations. My husband would also be helping me in this endeavor. We live in Fountain Hills AZ and like to get away from the hot summer months here in the valley. I like to walk dogs as it is a great way to get outdoors and exercise. I would welcome a house/pet sitting opportunity in a cooler climate in the summer months. I also would welcome a house sitting job anytime of year. I love plants and gardening and can take care of your landscaping needs. If I need to travel far to a location, I would want to stay at least two weeks.

Why they want to house sit

I think I can combine my love of animals with my love of travel and exploration. I used to co chair a travel cub and have traveled extensively. I also love gardening as I find it enriches my spirit.

I can bring my knowledge of caring for pets, and gardening skills. I am a neat and organized person who taught middle school students for 34 years, including field trips and chaperoning students on trips to Europe.
