About this sitter

I'm a retired nonprofit director looking for a quiet place to write. I'm an animal lover so I'm happy hanging out with critters, especially cats, dogs and horses. I've also got a very green thumb and love taking care of plants.

Why they want to house sit

I house sit to help homeowners and I love travel opportunities that allow me to live like a local.

Their experience

I'm an experienced housesitter and caregiver of animals and plants. My first job in life was managing the Pets and Plants Dept at Montgomery Wards. At one point, I had 98 beautiful plants thriving in my apartment.

I'm very experienced taking care of pets and other animals, too. I do animal rescue and feral cat TNR, so I've fostered and rescued many cats, a few dogs, and a possum and squirrel here and there. I'm also experienced with horses, and used to do horse buggy tours of historic Charleston, S.C. where I'm a registered historic tour guide.

Finally, I was a Super Host on AirBnB until the COVID pandemic started.

I'm quiet, organized and have a strong work ethic. I have lots of experience with animals and plants. You can trust your fur babies and your home with me :-)
