Retired couple, no ties

About this sitter

We're a retired couple from the UK. Although retired we are still leading active lives and are experienced in looking after dogs, cats, sheep flocks, beef cattle, chickens and rabbits! We are looking to accept house sits anywhere in the UK and Europe, mainly, but will consider elsewhere for the right option.

Why they want to house sit

We have retired from our regular jobs and have been touring Europe in our motorhome and are now looking to expand our experiences and feel it its with our love of travel.

Their experience

We've looked after our friends farm in England for up to two weeks at a time, helped with lambing and other jobs on the farm for up to 5 months during Covid. We've been doing this for over twenty years. We have had dogs of our own and are definitely animal lovers. We have experience at feeding all of the animals on the farm. These include sheep, cattle, horses, donkeys, chickens, dogs and cats.

What can they bring to the assignment

We are calm, caring people who take any responsibilities we have as serious. We will ensure we look after your property and animals as if they were our own. We are active and in good health and able to travel anywhere and undertake the right sit at short notice. We also have no time limits on us, so lengthy stays, or stays that have to be extended at short notice can be arranged, subject to other sitting responsibilities.
