Hello,

My Name is Louis, I am 46 years old and have owned four homes in the last 20 years. I have had cats and dogs and house sat for family members while they were out on vacation over the years. I have been separated over 14 years and have a daughter and son (in their late teens), that have been living with their mother full time the past two years.

I have recently made a life change. I used to be an investigator/inspector in Occupational Health and Safety and chose to go back to school for two years in 2022. I studied the plumbing and heating trade in Canada. And now I have decided to move to Mérida/Progreso to study in Information Technology and Program Management. I am also a starving musician and currently working part time on my second solo album and learning Spanish as my third language. I love life, nature, animals, cultures, languages and much more.

Why they want to house sit

My uncle told me about house sitting when he heard I was moving to Mexico. In addition, that some of his retired friends have been doing this for years and that it was one of the best travelling and cultural experiences they had ever lived. That said, I thought is was a perfect opportunity to house sit for people in need as it benefits would be for both the house owners and sitter.

I have owned four homes the passed 20 years, three of which just myself and my children lived in. I kept a clean and tidy house hold. I managed fatherhood, my job, household necessities, lawn, pool, maintenance, painting, renovations and many more shores throughout the years. I have sat for dogs and cats at my homes and been to family and friends homes to do the same while they were on vacation. I am organized, disciplined, respectful, great communicator, resourceful, great attention to detail, hard working and always make time to enjoy life and laugh.
