Hi there! My name is Ciara. I'm an editor for TV and Film. I am from Belfast but moved to Glasgow for university, and have continued to live here while pursuing my career as an editor. I am warm, friendly and very laid back, adapting to new surroundings easily and quickly. I love exploring new places and travelling whenever I can, but also greatly appreciate a good book in the sun or watching a film to relax. I am very excited to look after your pets and plants needs while you are away on your adventures! I will look after them as if they are my own, with all the love and care in the world :)

Why they want to house sit

I am keen to travel more and discover new places, and this feels like the perfect way to do it, as I will also have the joy of spending time with some lovable pets while I do so! I believe the best way to travel and experience the world is to do it through the eyes of those who live there, and live as authentically as possible. I speak a little Spanish, having studied in school and speaking with my father, who lived in Spain for a while and is fluent. I am really eager to practice and improve my language skills in the most rich and real way possible, authentically with those from there. I am also a keen writer, and would love the space and time to develop my stories completely away from home, in a new environment that can inspire me creatively.
My parents did not allow pets growing up and my current living situation does not allow for pets either, so I'm always thrilled when I get to spend time looking after my friend's lovely dogs and cats. This would be a tremendously joyous experience for me, it would in no way feel like work for me to look after your bundles of joy!

Their experience

I have cared for friends' cats, guinea pigs and fish on numerous occasions while they are on holiday, and I have always loved the experience! I also have many plants of my own, so understand fully the importance of being a good consistent plant mother! I am excited to gain more opportunities looking after your loved ones while you are away and will always treat them the best in the world!

I am an open and warm individual, always excited for new experiences and challenges. I am very caring and loving, especially towards animals and would be trilled to be given the opportunity to care for them! I am quiet, calm and a very good communicator, and will be very available for communication about your pets while you are away, allowing you the more relaxed, carefree holiday possible!
