Kiwi couple available to care for your home and pets | Peace of mind while you're away

About this sitter

We are an adventurous, travel loving couple looking to housesit around Europe. We are extremely reliable and house-proud people, that would look after your house as if it were our own.

I am 28, work in sustainability consulting, enjoy exploring of the beaten path, and love being outdoors to swim, ski or hike. James is 30, works in software development, great gardenerer, is very practical and loves to fix things. He grew up on a lifestyle block so had experience looking after a variety of farmyard animals as well. We are currently on sabbatical and have spent the last few months travelling around Nepal, India, the Phillipines and Indonesia from New Zealand.

We are both non smokers, active, tidy, reliable and love animals.

We are really excited about the opportunity to take care of your home and pets while you are away so you can make the most of your well deserved holiday!

Why they want to house sit

We are looking forward housesitting so we can spend more time in each place to better understand the culture, community and area. We are keen to slow down the pace of traveling for the remainder of the year so I can continue studying my Masters and James can work remotely.

Their experience

We have house sat several times in New Zealand, from rural lifestyle blocks to inner city apartments. We understand the level of trust required for homeowners, so will take great care of your pets and home while you are away.

We own our own home and appreciate when people care for it as if it were their own. We are happy to garden, look after pets, and get our hands dirty with any jobs that need doing.

What can they bring to the assignment

We both love animals and have had pets for most of our lives. We would be very happy to look after any pets you may have and be sure to send you regular updates.

James is a keen gardener and an all round practical bloke. I am a very houseproud person and like to keep our home clean and tidy, so I will ensure we do the same for yours.
