About this sitter

My name is Judith and I'm a recent (early) retired professional. I am originally from the UK but have lived in the United States for over 20 years. I own a home in Lake Oswego, OR.

With my newfound freedom, I want to see more of the world. I like to experience new places like a local, which is why a house sit is so appealing to me. I'm an adventurous home body who likes to cook, read and garden. I also enjoy walking and hiking, paddleboarding and exploring new places.

I love animals, dogs in particular, but currently don't have a dog of my own. To get my "doggy fix", I care for other people's dogs.

Why they want to house sit

I'm treating the next phase of my life as a discovery phase. I would like to experience new places and activities, and house sitting seems like a great way to do that. My schedule is very flexible and I have a lot of experience in caring for dogs.

I'm considering moving back to the UK at some time in future to be closer to family, and so am particular interested in sits there to help me make that decision.

I am a 5 star dog sitter on Rover, and have owned my own dogs most of my adult life. I have also been a professional dog walker on Wag.

I am just getting started with house sitting, although I have looked after homes, pets and plants for several friends.

I have solely owned by own home for over 10 years and am familiar with many aspects of maintenance.
