About this sitter

I'm a capable, single independent woman excited to have the opportunity to support other home owners and look after their home and pets as if they were my own while they go on holiday knowing everything is in good hands.

Non smoker, active and known to be the most reliable, responsible person my friends and family know. Happy to lovingly take care of your pets and home so you can enjoy your time away. I work for myself as a consultant (business & law) from home and am also writing 3 books to self publish soon.

Happy to consider all house sitting assignments, however preferring rural or farm over city as I love being in nature and am looking for a farm to buy.
I am comfortable with isolated or out of the way properties, having lived in a small town of 200 people when I was young and comfortable being on my own with animals.

I am also an experienced renovator and can look after your home with ease. I enjoy gardening, cleaning and when necessary 'fixing things'.

Why they want to house sit

About to embark on a change of life, wanting to buy acreage in Mid North Coast NSW, Tasmania or Victoria. House sitting would give me the opportunity to check out regions and communities to see where I want to purchase my next home. I have always loved and been around animals, could not imagine life without them. Pets are not possessions, they are our loved ones, I will care for them as if they were my own.

Their experience

I am experienced with most animals. Large and small dog breeds, all cats, farm animals: horses, sheep, goats, chickens etc.

I am calm, confident and capable around all animals except reptiles (they creep me out).

What can they bring to the assignment

Having volunteered for numerous dog shelters in Sydney (including Staffy rescue and Monica's dog rescue), my parents had a hobby farm with goats, sheep and horses.

As a child I attended horse camp during school holidays and grew up with bull terrier's in our home.

I had a Dalmatian (Shimzee) for 16 years who grew up with my daughters and more recently had the love of my life the sweetest miniature dachshund (Kingston aged 12) and our little queen, (Suki aged 16) I am very experienced with residential, farm and recue animals of all types. I warn you, they will get loads of attention and will be well taken care of.
