I am a retired female that was once a vet assistant. I have extensive experience in administering medications and changing bandages, I bring a wealth of knowledge and care to house sitting opportunities that involve pet care. While I cannot administer medicines via a needle, I am fully capable of ensuring your pets receive their oral medications and other treatments they may require.

I have a deep love for animals, particularly dogs, cats, and horses, having had all three as beloved family pets over the years. This personal experience allows me to provide compassionate and attentive care for your furry family members.

Their experience

I have experience in both housesitting as well as pet care. I have cared for two cats several times for an acquaintance who often travels and/or is called out of work. This particular situation also required my staying at the house where I perform deep cleaning tasks, in addition to caring for MANY plants.
I have also taken care of various dogs over the years - Great Danes, Beagles, Labs, Pit Bulls Mixes, etc. I have had both labs and German Shephards throughout my adult life. Additionally, as a vet assistant I also took care of up to 35 animals within a boarding facility.

What can they bring to the assignment

Primarily, I bring a heart that is compassionate towards animals. I love to give them attention and comfort, not only by feeding them, or taking them for walks, but I have a tendency to give massages to animals. I love them myself, and know the animals do as well. I can even offer equissage, as I was once was certified to provide equine massages.
