About this sitter

I work remotely in the utility industry and I am also a photographer. Therefore, I am flexible in traveling and always seek opportunities to photograph new places. I have owned dogs all of my life and for the last 10 years I've owned a sun conure bird so I am comfortable around pets.

Why they want to house sit

Being able to work remotely has opened a new door for me to travel and see the world, for the last 16 years I've been part of the Couchsurfing.org community only and found it a great way to meet new people and introduced me to a new way of traveling.
I am respectful of other people's spaces and organized.

Their experience

Yes, for the last year I have been house sitting for our friends house in Santa Fe, where I come once or twice a week and make sure that the house is in good shape, water their plants, check for issues and repair them myself if I can or let them know of them.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am introverted, so I like to stay at home after work, I like to have a minimal of a footprint while I'm at someone else's house. I am handy with tools and can repair a good amount of things, if you need your yard done, I find it very relaxing myself.
