About this sitter

I'm currently on a sabbatical traveling the world while I find inspiration for my next project. Prior to this leave, I was part owner of an accounting firm/tech startup. I love being in nature and around animals. I also enjoy immersing myself in different cultures and environments. Other interests include yoga, kayaking, dancing, strength training, tech and networking.

I'm looking to housesit for other loving animal lovers and travelers. If the listing feels like it aligns, I'll apply. As of August 28th, I'm in Portugal with a return to Canada September 15th and will be available to sit Ontario wide.

Why they want to house sit

As a solo traveler, it can be a fun and liberating experience but it's nice sometimes to slow down a bit and enjoy being in one spot with the comfort of animals. It's also a great way to make new friends with fellow travelers and animal lovers.

Their experience

I had dogs growing up as well as a guinea pig and had my own dog for 10 years. We got my dog as a puppy so I have experience potty training and with teething. Last year I lived and helped care for 2 cats and a dog for 6 months. I'm also on TrustedHousitters where I've gained valuable experience with a variety of different pets (cats, dogs, hens, ducks and rabbits). I've included my reviews in the reference section.

What can they bring to the assignment

I'm experienced, trustworthy and responsible. I enjoy exploring new cities or hiking in nature but I'm also a bit of a homebody so I will spend a lot of time with your pets.
