Mature, capable, animal-loving screenwriter with hospitality and handyman experience

About this sitter

I’m a mature and reliable parent and professional screenwriter. As my daughter reaches maturity and independence I can seek new surroundings to inform and enthuse my writing. I am looking for opportunities that last a minimum of three months in the West of Ireland, preferably Connemara or Sligo areas.

Why they want to house sit

I like the community and non-monetary aspects of house sitting. I enjoy meeting new people and appreciate the value of caring for people and animals.

Their experience

I worked in hospitality in the French Alps for six years. I catered and cleaned for groups of holidaymakers and maintained the chalets I worked in. I’ve lived in half a dozen houses in the West of Ireland over the last twenty years, maintaining and improving the environments of home and garden each time. I am currently living on a small sheep and cattle farm with my daughter's cat, Maeve.
