About this sitter

Hello pet lovers! My name is pronounced "Kasha" or you can call me "Kash."
I am a responsible and motivated 32 year old woman who is always looking for travel opportunities. I love experiencing as much as this life has to offer!
Things that feed my soul are sunshine, music, silliness, flowers, animals, and anything to do with nature. I am striving for a future that involves working in the dirt, growing food, flowers, and having some rescue animals. Until then I will be travelling around trying to find my future home base and would appreciate house sits for this reason.

Why they want to house sit

As many folks on here are, I am another wandering soul, trying to find my forever home and enjoying the travel in between! I would love to see as many places as possible, but sadly am not a millionaire who can stay at hotels or resorts. I am also such a wanderer that I am in no position to have animals of my own.. so.. pet and house sitting has been a wonderful experience for me in my life! I can stay somewhere for free and get to enjoy the company of adorable animals; such a wonderful way to travel and create great connections along the way.

Their experience

I have been house and pet sitting for as long as I can remember! Starting when I lived in Vancouver, I worked with a local company, "Release the Hounds," at the same time that I was working in a doggy daycare. Many dog sits took place over the span of 3 years, mainly where I would stay in the client's home. When I had a consistent apartment rental, I fostered cats and kittens which was such a joy!
I also extended myself to cat sit for numerous properties at a time, driving from house to house feeding and spending time with each kitty.

What can they bring to the assignment

I love to help people and allow them the freedom to get away while feeling sure their pets are in caring hands.
I have done farm sitting as well and have had to deal with setting mouse traps and scaring off raccoons from the chicken coop.
I have never had any issues or bad reviews from my house sitting experiences. I am a strong homebody and love the comforts of home. I move around so much that I haven't had the feeling of home for myself in a long time! (I mainly work seasonal jobs and end up in seasonal housing) This is why I treat other's homes with great respect and care. I understand how important one's place of solitude and safety is, and while I stay there it is like I am in my own temporary sanctuary.
The same goes for the pets! I am not in a position to have my own animals so I soak up the furry love while I can! I love being outdoors and enjoy running around in the woods much more with an energetic pup running beside me! If your animals are allowed on the bed, I am happy to let them in for a snuggle with me! I make a really good substitute parent while you are away.
