About this sitter

I am an independent non-smoking ‘boomer’ who loves to travel the world creating memories and meeting like minded people from all walks of life. I have always loved animals especially dogs having owned and looked after several varieties over the years. I am a self employed Traditional Signwriter and Gold Leaf Specialist who teaches students across the globe via online and in person workshops. I am 63 years young and travel provides me with a lifestyle and understanding of various cultures and beliefs.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting has given me the chance to stay longer in places and to experience what the location has to offer. As a solo traveller I prefer to be in a house or flat, with or without animals, rather than alone in a hotel.
I have travelled extensively pre covid and now post covid and love exploring new places and cultures. Having a base (where I am not lugging luggage around) but also having fur babies to look after is my idea of the perfect holiday. It really is the best of both worlds.
I do not have references here as I am new to this site however I have house sat privately for a few years and can provide references via email should you require.
I am also happy to meet with you either via zoom or in person so you can get to know me a little better before trusting me with your home and pets. I have glowing references from my stays via Airbnb as well

Their experience

I have over 40 years experience in raising and training dogs - I prefer animals that are well behaved and have been given basic training commands of sit, stay and come, as this is for their upmost safety as well as integration with other animals whilst walking.

I have been renovating my daughter’s apartment over the past year as well as my own houses in the previous years. I feel I am more than qualified to efficiently deal with any household maintenance, animal care or emergency that may arise and keep owners informed and updated regularly whilst caring for their property and/or pets.
