About this sitter
Hello, I would like to introduce myself as a retired, travelling, adventurous grandmother. I have four children and 4 grandchildren that come with 4 dogs and 2 cats (which I babysit often). Cycling is my passion. It is my primary mode of transportation at home and often comes with me while travelling abroad. I like to walk/hike and explore new places both in the city and out in nature.
Why they want to house sit
I really like to experience new places and I like to do it from a 'locals' perspective. As a solo traveller, it is a wonderful opportunity to walk around, explore and enjoy the location and help someone out at the same time.

Competent and reliable sitter
Jody looked after our house and two cats for a period of two and a half months over winter. Right from the start we realised that she was calm, reliable, efficient and trustworthy. Arrangements were made easily and while we were away she communicated when necessary. One of our cats had an abscess on his paw and she dealt with this and kept us informed of his progress. On departure, Jody left the house clean and tidy. We would be very happy to have her back on a future occasion.
