Retired couple, animal lovers from Quebec

About this sitter

We are a retired couple who like to travel with the comfort of home. I like to cook and occasionally go out. My husband enjoys a good glass of wine, I rarely drink myself.

Why they want to house sit

I am open to new experiences and changing environments . I want to house sit because I don’t much care for hotel and resort life and I like to cook my own food and not have to go out everyday. Looking after pets is a plus. I have been looking after my neighbours’s chickens for the last few days and it’s a thrill to count and pick up the eggs in the morning! We are cat owners ourselves- they have been all strays over the years.

Their experience

We are a retired couple who have been homeowners for over 30 years. We have been living in the country for the last 4 years with a well and septic system. We have dealt with many issues over the years and are not easily put out.

What can they bring to the assignment

Experienced homeowners and pet caregiver - both are current cats are 10 years-old and on medication. We have a strong sense of responsibility and are trustworthy.
