About this sitter

Hi there! We are Amanda & Jeremy and we are new empty-nesters. We love to travel and would love to spend more than just a few days getting to know some of our favorite places.

We love animals, don't mind work (of the farm & gardening variety), and are very clean, laid-back people.

We've been together for nearly 30 years, and our kids are now grown, and this seems like a really great way to have extended stays in places we really love.

Why they want to house sit

We love to travel, but hate hotels. We also prefer to have a homey place to settle into whilst getting to know the places we are visiting.

We love animals - we always have a cat or three, and we had a dog we adored, who passed due to cancer a few years ago, and haven't been able to get a new one since.

Their experience

We are. We've house sat for family members in the past - but having three kids meant it was something we had to stop doing until they were grown.

What can they bring to the assignment

We will take really good care of your space. We are mindful, respectful and thoughful folks. Jeremy is quite introverted and I'm an ambivert who doesn't love big crowds, so we mostly keep to ourselves and love to spend time in nature.

We will love your animals like they are ours, and if you've got a garden, expect it to be well cared for. :-)
