About this sitter

We'd like to partake in slow travel experiences in order to truly appreciate and authentically learn from the local community we visit. We often choose long-term house-sits that are close to the large cities where we have friends and family nearby. We also love to connect with the home's land and love spending time in the garden, strolling around the local neighborhood, or hiking along nearby trails. We find joy in caring for a home environment that allows us to feel like 'home' during our extended visits. Our core values emphasize safety, trust, and inclusiveness. We're looking for a chance to form a strong relationship with homeowners and take in new cultural experiences by exploring the local art, music, and food scenes.

Why they want to house sit

On our travel journeys, we've house sat for esteemed colleagues, family, and strangers who have become friends. We appreciate the value of being able to make our family larger through those we meet and serve. We like becoming part of the community which is easier with longer stays. We hope to authentically foster a mutually beneficial relationship with homeowners and any pets we agree to care for.

Their experience

We are currently Property Manager Admins with over 5 years of combined house/pet sitting experience. While owners are away, we assist with special house and pet-sitting assignments as requested. We can comfortably care for pets so they experience unconditional love and affection throughout our duration of care. We know basic plumbing and electric unit installations. We can help with outdoor gardening, treating soil, navigating water irrigation systems, watering the lawn, blowing leaves, and trimming/watering the plants as needed. We stay in touch with homeowners and provide them with prompt communication in case any emergencies occur on the property and periodic updates with pics/videos of the home/mail/packages/pets.

What can they bring to the assignment

We’re a great team when distributing household chores and pet duties. We get in touch with the animals on an instinctive level and cater to their needs depending on their breed, age, and temperament. We know how to comfortably care for pets so they experience unconditional love and affection throughout our duration of care. We are also very responsible with caring for homes as if it were our own.
