About this sitter

I am honest, dependable, kind, charismatic, and communicative. I love being in the woods, on a mountain, or by the lake. I feel closest to my people during a live music event. I feel most connected to myself during hot yoga. I have a beautiful collection of houseplants and I love fresh flowers. I love food and trying new things. I have a deep fondness for all animals, but especially dogs.

In addition to the wonderful company of your pets, I'm looking for a housesit that will give me the kind of solitude that I can only get when I'm somewhere new, and I feel like the world is at my doorstep. I find that being in a new place helps me practice appreciation and gratitude for my journey. I find that each part of my journey unlocks a new appreciation for life. I hope to include you as part of my life's journey!

Why they want to house sit

My family laid their roots in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania when they moved to the US in the 1980s. We’ve been building our foundation here ever since. I have a very large family that I enjoy spending time with. But as an unmarried, childless, millennial in her mid-30s, I am ready to forge my own path and experience the beauty of life. I have a very spontaneous and curious nature, and I am eager to expand my mind and spirit through the lens of travel and human connection.

Their experience

I currently am a pet/housesitter on Rover with a 5 star rating. I can share my profile if interested. I grew up caring for three dogs, and have also raised a puppy of my own; a pitbull named Pablo who is now 4 years old. I also had a pet turtle and rabbit. I have cared for cats and dogs of friends and family over the past decade, both in their homes or hosting the animals in mine. I have experience training dogs, caring for puppies and senior dogs, positive reinforcement, medication administration, and lots of playtime! I am very observant and intuitive of animals, and can pick up on their current needs, like if they want attention or space. I want your loved one to feel happy and safe.

What can they bring to the assignment

My job is completely remote, so I work from home all day. I am up early for my hour long walk before work, and can bring your furry friend with me for exercise. My schedule is flexible and I dictate when I take breaks, so I can easily attend to the needs of your pet. During lunch, we can go for another walk to stretch our paws. I love to run and play toss/fetch with dogs after work. After this, we'll have dinner, then cuddle and read on the couch!

I make sure that your pets are given lots of attention and care. We will go for many walks, play toss/fetch, and leave room for relaxation. I also give my own dog Spaw treatments, and am happy to bathe and groom your pet if you'd like. As a special exercise, I love to put on music and dance with the dogs, so please let me know what's your pet's favorite song to dance to!
