Hello! :-) My name is Donna and I am 45years old. I have recently given up a director level role at an ATM company responsible for billions of pounds of other peoples' money! So it's fair to say I'm a responsible person. I am now a minister in training at my local church. I have also signed up to volunteer as a magistrate and actively collect clothes for an orphanage in Zimbabwe that I send at my own cost. I am a friendly, bubbly person with a strong moral compass. I am family orientated so much so we built an annex for my parents to come live with us. We run a cleaning company with my Mum and sister so cleanliness is key to me! I have an 18 year old son, who is not so willing to receive my smooshy love.... but, I find that the animals we walk at the dog rescue centre are more than willing to be loved :-) I love pets, we had a little puppy called biscuit, but we then found out my son was allergic to him. Heart breaking! I love all animals, and one day I dream of having my own little plot with chickens and goats and dogs, maybe even a donkey! I love gardening, and the smell of freshly cut grass is one of my favourites! That and cake which I love to bake. I love the outdoors, and take long walks through the farmland nearby or when we go camping. The peace and quiet of the country or the beauty and majesty of the sea side are my favourite places to be.

Why they want to house sit

I would love to house sit as I am not looking for a new role just yet, and I would like to go on retreats, alone just me and my bible and books, and only pets for company. I am confident in my integrity and will look after any home as if it were my own and love the pets with the smooshy love I mentioned before. I can appreciate how daunting it may be for you to want your pets to stay home where they are comfortable, but have concerns about who you leave them with. I am someone that you can trust, who will keep you updated and let you know as much as I know - so you're not left with that awful feeling of "why didn't you say anything"!?! It's horrible! I believe that HOME is the single most precious place we have, you shut out the world and your bad days when you step in to your sanctuary and safe space. I promise to treat it with the same respect. In truth, I have only ever house sat for family and friends, my husband and I are often called upon first as our loved ones know they can depend on us. In my view, the people we meet along the way often become friends, I hope you will too!
