Active retired/semi-retired non-smoking couple willing to help.

Hello, we are a British/English Married couple, Jim (77) Retired and Joanne (49) Semi-Retired looking to help out with house/pets sits.
We enjoy outdoor pursuits walking, running, cycling, camping, traveling, and photography.

Animal care, house care, garden care, and pride in what we do and most of all respect for you, your animals and property.
We have also had experience in security management.
We are non-smokers and have our own transport.

Long or short house/pet sits are fine for us as we have lived in a yurt for a year and a half doing a yurt/pet sit in southern France so basic living suits us just fine, we have also looked after a large house over a four year period in North Western France so we have worked both ends of the spectrum and housekeeping is no problem, the house we took care of also included one and a half acres of formal gardens to maintain which included pruning, vegetable garden, poly-tunnel, orchard and also chicken and rabbit keeping. We have had experience of looking after smallholdings including a small cattery, and working on a dairy farm, some of the animals that we have looked after include horses, ponies, donkeys, alpaca's, cows and calves, sheep and lambs, goats, pigs, dogs (Sizes from Newfoundlands, Leonberger, To dachshund x poodle) and also puppies, cats, chickens and cockerels, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, birds, fish, chinchilla, and peacock.

Apart from being able to help people out it gives us the opportunity to do the things we really enjoy doing the most which are meeting new people, caring for animals and seeing new places.

Why they want to house sit

We want to be able to help people out with house or pet sitting as we are retired/semi-retired so have the time to do it.

Their experience

We are and have been members of 4 different house/pet sitting sites over the years, UK house/pet sitting and Abroad so have quite a few references if need be, and we do alot of house/pet sits through word of mouth.
