About this sitter

We are a German-Spanish couple, Mathis (28) and Sarah (27), who have been together for nearly seven years. We've lived in both Germany and Spain, and we're currently pursuing our Master's degrees. The flexible nature of our studies allows us to travel while completing our written assignments, and we’re excited to embark on this new adventure.

We both love animals and nature, and we can’t wait to gain new experiences through house and pet sitting. We both speak Spanish, German, and English fluently, and we're both quite handy and easygoing.

Why they want to house sit

We are traveling through France and Spain in our self-built campervan, and we're eager to find house and pet sitting opportunities as we explore new places. Our passions include hiking, surfing, and spending time in nature, which is why we prefer locations away from big cities, although we're open to city stays as well.

In the future, we dream of settling down in northern Spain, and house sitting offers us the perfect chance to discover new areas and experience what it’s like to live in different places. It’s a unique way for us to see if we could imagine ourselves living there someday.

Mathis has extensive experience in house sitting, Wwoofing, and pet sitting, having spent six months in New Zealand taking on various assignments. Sarah has a deep love for animals and has cared for her own dog for several years.
