I retired in July 2024 from Ferris State University, and I have had my sights on MindMyHouse for some time now. I am looking forward to the opportunities it will provide for me to travel to and between house sitting gigs around North America and the rest of the world.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting will provide me opportunities to travel the world by providing places to stay in areas that I am interested in exploring.

Their experience

I have been a home owner for 26 years, and prior to owning, I was a renter for 20 years. I am a sesoned traveler staying in hotels, airbnb's, and my motorhome. I know how to take care of my property as well as the property of others. I have had pets all of my life, and my house plants tend to thrive causing me to have way too many for my downsized home.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am a very clean, tidy, and organized person. I love animals and I'm very good with plants indoors and outside. I have extensive home improvement experience, from many kinds of painting, stripping and hanging wallpaper, to demolition and full remodels of bathrooms and kitchens, including minor electrical and plumbing. I also maintain and improve my property and landscaping. I might be willing to take on a project during my stay.
