Friendly and very capable sitter for the Henley on Thames area

About this sitter

Hi. I'm a friendly sociable person who loves animals and also all things outdoors. I go walking most days. I've 3 grown up daughters and live in a period farmhouse in Henley. I'm naturally tidy, capable, and I am trustworthy. I've been a trustee of several community charities for 30 years and continue to be a trustee for 3 at present as well as a leader at a local church. I'm a surveyor by profession (director) who is home based.

Why they want to house sit

My wife decided to separate from me early 2024 and I have allowed her to stay in the family house as her workplace is also there. I now live in a small rental and enjoy the opportunity to see other places, meet new animals, enjoy a larger living space, and some adventure along the way which I can easily do given my work commitments

Their experience

I've had 3 cats over 30 years or so, 1 dog for 16 years, and we've had the usual guinea pigs etc for the kids. I've looked after a friends farmstead with 3 alpacas, 8 chickens, and 2 dogs, and more latterly this summer, have successfully looked after several cats and my daughters spaniel.

Reliability and trustworthiness. Maturity and experience in looking after property as well as a range of pets.
Love and genuine care for pets - whether a lap for a cat or a stretching walk for a dog.
