Hello, my name is Maggie Padlewska. I am a documentarian who is currently working on a book after spending the past 15 years embarking on solo expeditions to some of the most remote regions of the world. Having recently returned to Europe, I am seeking a space where I can be of help - while given the opportunity think, ponder life’s experiences and write. I don’t need much other than warmth, some quiet time perhaps, and the joy I am sure to experience while caring for your beloved animal(s) and home (if you so chose). Why they want to house sit

I would like to house sit because it is such a beautiful concept…a mutually beneficial exchange among good people where wonderful experiences are surely had by all. As someone who adores animals and nature, and derives so much joy and inspiration from my surroundings and the regions I visit, I cannot think of a more perfect setting/opportunity as I continue to work on my book. Although I am new to Mind My House, it is truly wonderful to see such a beautiful community and opportunities! Having spent most of my life, and career, travelling - homeowners can rest assured that I am seeking a moment of reflection and pause as I happily care for your loved one(s) and home.

Their experience

I am mature and very well-travelled, and although not through a formal website such as this (rather through friendships, acquaintances, “friends of friends,” etc.) I have cared for many homes, animals and plants over the years.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am kind, tidy, highly trustworthy and respectful towards people, their spaces and all living creatures. I am also a woman who can manage very well on my own. To answer the above question of what I would “bring to this assignment” - it is the utmost degree of respect, honesty, responsibility, warmth and care that I hope is expected of any great house sitter.
