Experienced house and pet sitters looking for our next adventure

About this sitter

We're a young married couple who met at university. Charlie enjoys wild swimming, cycling, and is a trained clarinet and saxophone player. Ellie enjoys writing, detective fiction, and making animal friends.

We are open to any type of home, but are looking for places in Europe.

Why they want to house sit

We're looking to escape London for a year to work remotely. Ellie is from Northern Ireland and Charlie is from the south of England. We have lived in London for the past 7 years, so we're ready for our next adventure!

Their experience

We have been housesitting for a friend for 2 years as she is currently in Greece.

We have been looking after Peppy, a cockapoo, for the last year. We've developed a good relationship with Peppy's owners, and we have her for a weekend every 2 weeks and sometimes for longer stays.

Before Peppy, we looked after Flory, a cat whose owner travelled frequently. We would also housesit for him when he was away.

Ellie grew up with rabbits and her first job was working on a stables. Charlie grew up with hens and fish.

What can they bring to the assignment

We both have green fingers and enjoy being outside. We are naturally tidy people, and Charlie has previous experience working as a property manager.
