Responsible couple excited to care for pets and house sit in SEA

About this sitter

We are young retirees, Jeff (60's) and Wendy (50's), who fell in love with Thailand in 2018, when Wendy accepted a teaching job in Pak Chong. We now enjoy slow-travelling around SEA, while escaping the Canadian winters. We are both home owners, so we understand the importance of caring for one's home. We are new to house sitting. Wendy has house sat for her daughter's dog and two cats. We love all animals and will treat them like our own precious creatures. Jeff is also pretty good with plants too and does his own home-repairs, renovations and landscaping.

Why they want to house sit

We enjoy getting away from the major tourist areas and immersing ourselves in smaller neighborhoods. We have the luxury of slow-travel with a fairly flexible schedule. House sitting will extend the budget and allow us to travel for longer.

Their experience

We are experienced home-owners and we have experience caring for pets, including our own and friends' and family's pets. Wendy's daughter's dog broke her leg while home alone and we provided care for her while she healed. We've changed bandages and provided treatment for minor injuries. We have some experience with farm animals. We are also experienced travellers,

What can they bring to the assignment

We are extremely reliable. We understand it may be stressful leaving your home and loving pets in the care of strangers. We will try to ease any apprehension by communicating prior to and during the house-sit.
