About this sitter

Our Rhodesian Ridgeback recently passed away and we are taking some time to travel before settling back into a place permanently. I sold my business in the US about two years ago (interior design firm) and my husband is from London and works remotely. Because of the amount of family in the UK, we'd love to stay somewhere close to London or Southern UK through the holiday season, but we are open to possibilities! I'm very familiar with all dog breeds (I trained my own dog to be a medical service animal) and we are happy to care for other animals as well.

Why they want to house sit

We have moved out of our homes in America and the UK to be able to move around the world freely for a while, so a place to stay and some pets to love will help us settle on where we want to go in our next chapter.

Their experience

I have owned several homes myself over the years, including a few rental properties, so I'm very respectful of other peoples' space. I did quite a bit of formal house and pet sitting in my late teens and twenties, but I don't know that I'd be able to provide those references.

What can they bring to the assignment

There's peace of mind that your home and pets will be well-kept and well-loved in your absence. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to open your home to someone you don't know, especially when your home also includes your pets. I'm happy to provide updates and/or photos as frequently or infrequently as you'd like throughout my time in your home.
