About this sitter

I am a natural caregiver. I know the importance of putting your mind at ease as I lovingly take care of your sacred space. On a personal note, I helped my father and best friend get through illness and death this past year. That involved being a patient advocate, caretaker and friend that kept the space peaceful and calm while under intense stress. They trusted me with their lives and I am honored. I am a solid, mature adult who is kind and hardworking. You can count on me to follow your requests to the note.

Why they want to house sit

I feel fulfilled by being entrusted with meaningful jobs and feel a particular honor in taking care of people’s homes and animals. I feel rejuvenated by hard work and peaceful surroundings. I love to write and I have the opportunity to travel this winter. My heart is full from the experiences of life and loss and I believe carrying for your home and your animals will bring us all solace, peace and fulfillment.

I am experienced in the care of animals and humans - deeply.
I have worked on a Llama and Alpaca farm in the hills of Colorado; I have maintained a large tree farm on the outskirts of Boulder, Colorado; I have taken care of chickens, goats and horses in Costa Rica; have harvested soybeans and carrots and transplanted onions in Japan. I have painted houses for 20 years; I have recorded and toured the US and Europe as drummer and percussionist; I was a primary caregiver for my best friend through her 2 year battle with cancer and helped her die; I cared for my father and helped him die. I have managed a recording studio, a painting company, a hardware store and take care of my friends animals when they are away.

I can bring love and solid reliability. I am experienced with both joy and adversity. You can count on me to talk with your animals and plants every single day and give them affection. I am unique in that I have so many different strengths from my sometimes heartbreaking experience. It only makes me want to do it more. I believe it is why we are on this earth.
