Midlife empty-nester and remote worker looking to try out new locations

About this sitter

I'm a remote worker who needs lots of quiet time and good broadband but not a whole lot else to be contented. I love to walk/hike/run, eat, sleep & repeat and like to do all of these things in different locations. I'm equally comfortable in big cities or in rural locations, although a nice view is always a help. If you happen to have an adorable pet to keep me company that's a bonus.

Why they want to house sit

I had my kiddos early so didn't have much time for myself or for travel in my 20s/30s. Now that my time is my own I'd like to travel a little and try some new locations on for size. I'm a homeowner so I can't move easily but house sitting gives me the option to try on a new location for size and actually live & work there, not just do the tourist thing. If adorable pets are also included, that is a fabulous side benefit and potentially will stop me making ridiculous faces at doggos while out running.
