Hello! I'm Izzy. I’m a house sitter with experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. I love spending time with pets and getting to know them as they become part of my routine. I enjoy drawing, especially in the garden, and I appreciate the peace that comes with being in a new environment. While exploring different towns, I find inspiration for my creative projects and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

Why they want to house sit

I’m really looking forward to house sitting before I start my new role as an adventure activity instructor in the UK this February. Since I can’t have pets of my own right now, I see this as a wonderful opportunity to connect with animals and experience new places. Rest assured, I will care for your home and pets as if they were my own, ensuring a safe and happy environment while you’re away!

Their experience

I have varied experience caring for pets in different environments. I lived with a family that had two rescue dogs: an older dog who needed gentle care and a spirited terrier with a bit of a temper. This experience taught me how to manage different temperaments and ensure both dogs felt comfortable and loved.

What can they bring to the assignment

In addition to my experience with rescue dogs, I've looked after my neighbour’s dog for many years, walking her regularly and developing a bond as if she were my own. I’ve even had the joy of caring for her puppies while their owner was at work. This hands-on experience has deepened my understanding of canine needs and behaviours, allowing me to provide compassionate care tailored to each pet's personality.

As a bit of a hermit, I have lived in many homes with different people, so I know how to look after other peoples' homes. I am excited to explore parts of the place that you live in, but your pets are the main motivator and top priority. I will never leave your animals alone for longer than you permit.
