About this sitter

I am a 61-year-old woman and I live in a detached house in the countryside. I'm used to getting by on my own and I love animals. My last pet left for better hunting grounds in the spring of 2024 and now I miss the company of animals.

I would like to find a "quiet" place to spend time and where there might be nice animals whose energy I could enjoy.

I move around without a car, so it would be good to have transport connections close by or a grocery store within walking distance. I have a driver's license, I can also borrow your car if that is possible.

Why they want to house sit

When I travel, I would like to experience different cultures and the best free time for me would be to enjoy the company of animals.

I don't want the tourist rush. I like real life, in the right environment, be it in the country, a small village or a city. As long as nature and animals are nearby.

Their experience

I have 21 years of animal care experience. During that time, I myself have had 2 dogs, 3 cats, several chickens (over 20), rabbits and ducks.
I have also looked after my friends' animals such as dogs, chickens, rabbits, sheep and cats.

What can they bring to the assignment

I bring with me all my attention and love to the animals, the house and the garden. I enjoy being in the countryside, in nature and by the water.

I also love taking care of the garden and I like to do small maintenance work there.

This program asks for the criminal record extract provided by the police. I can order one if needed, but in Finland they are chargeable and only valid for 6 months, so I'll order it if someone demands it, it's not a problem.

I don't smoke and I don't drink alcohol.
