About this sitter
Hi! I'm Sophia, a Lithuanian-American university student currently in France. I study online and am able to study from anywhere with wi-fi, which makes sitting ideal for me. When it comes to house sitting, I'll be honest, I'm the least picky person I know. I'm self-reliant and quite tolerant (I'm the youngest of 4 all born in the span of 2 years - my siblings are triplets), so tolerance was something I had to learn quickly for my own peace of mind.
I'm looking for houses where I can be independent (I don't have my own car), and explore new areas (cities & nature - I love both!) at my leisure. I welcome doing that with a furry friend, if you have any! Back home (where my cats and dogs are), one of my absolute favorite things was a cuddle in the evening with my cat Tyson while our dog Charlie lounged at my feet :) I especially miss it now that the colder months are upon us.
Why they want to house sit
I want to house sit to slow travel to and around new places. If there are animals involved, that's even better - I grew up on a farm and have always had at least one dog and cat around me, so after a few months all alone some animal friends are very welcome!

Flexibility. I'm a university student studying online, so for the most part I'm really flexible (I'm also like this naturally - personality wise).

Looking after mabel
Sophia is a lovely young lady, polite and respectful, we had no qualms about leaving our cat mabel with sophia. She xane 2 days early as requested by myself and my hubby. She was very easy to get on with and I knew mabel would be ok in her care. Abd I n es our home would be safe. Whole we were away, dophja kept in touch, sbd sent photos of mabdl , which h put our minds at ease. When we arrived home after our break. She welcomed us back, and the house was immaculate , and very tidy. I would highly recommend sophia, she is trustworthy honest and lovely. And very good company. Mavel loved her and was content and happy . She had been well looked after, as was our tropical fish. We hope that she will sit for us in the not too distant future.
