About this sitter

I am a semi-retired healthcare worker who enjoys combining volunteer work with travel. This allows me to meet people, and connect more deeply with community and places. Now an empty nester, I have had dogs for 30 years. I have also worked on a sheep farm as a midwife which I loved!

Why they want to house sit

The opportunity to stay in a home setting with animals is much more appealing to me that moving about from place to place. I enjoy getting to know areas and appreciate a sense of connection while I travel. I understand how important it is to have one's pets well cared for while away and am happy to provide this care.

Their experience

I have been a home owner for 30 plus years in many climates and know how to look after a home and yard. In addition to caring for my dogs I look after friend's pets in their home and sometimes my home. I am active and love long walks or hikes as well as snuggles on the sofa.
