UK House and Petsitting - March 2025

About this sitter

Hello! My name is Livia. I am traveling around the world as a house and petsitter, as a way to be connected to nature through animals/plants, while experiencing different cultures and places.

So, it would be amazing if the house is surrounded by nature and has pets in it.

I am a very chill, easy going person, into zen and simple living, meditation, sounbaths, yoga, body and art therapies, etc. So a peaceful and joyful environment is my go-to, for sure!

Why they want to house sit

Since I am traveling, I need places to stay and live in. However, as I am recovering from very stressful times, my goal is to find jobs that are pleasant, chill, don't demand a lot of physical effort, but are just relaxing and easy on the body, mind and soul. So house and petsitting seemed the best options for me, at the moment. That is considering the house doesn't need deep cleaning, but just the basic maintenance, which I am very good at, as I thrive in nice, clean and tidy environments and will always wanna keep them this way!

Their experience

I have had pets myself for many years (dogs and cats) and have been looking after animals (bunnies, cats, dogs, fish and chickens), house and petsitting here in England and in Spain for the last 6 months and can give references. I just haven't uploaded them here, first cause the platform requires it to be in PDF and I can't do it this way at the moment, but mostly cause I'd rather give them through DMs, so I know first who I'm giving them to, in respect to my references' privacy.

I also have worked as an Aupair for over 2 years, here in England as well, which added a lot to my experience being abroad and responsible for others and a house.

What can they bring to the assignment

A lot of love, time and attention for each and every pet and plant: I am always attentive to their needs, as I have this as a priority whenever a being is at my care.

Also, I'm more of a stay-at-home person, who, right now, only wants to go out for nice walks with pets, groceries and other basic needs. I've already lived here and done a lot of sightseeing. At the moment, I just wanna be in nature with furry friends, or at home playing and cuddling with them, or studying, doing yoga, meditation, drawing, reading, watching a film, or just having a nice cup o' tea with a muffin and relaxing :). Especially at night! For the owners and pet parents who ask for that, yes! I will def be and sleep at home! Never been one to enjoy going out at night much, let alone in this cold :)!

I'Il also bring a lot of care for your house, as I value being in a pleasant environment that is nice, clean and beautiful.

I'm a vegetarian (transitioning to vegan) and I don't smoke. So for the owners that have the same choices, that is a check :)!
